7Sea Esports wins the tournament
The BGMI Showdown Finals conducted with much grandeur concluded after six matches played by the 16 qualified teams from the group stage. The first ever official LAN tournament consisted a whopping prize pool of 15 lakhs where a lion’s share of prize was offered to 7Sea Esports, the champions of the tournament.
Not only that, the team also bagged their slot to the PUBG Mobile World Invitational: Afterparty which is set to commence the upcoming month. Orangutan Gaming were the first runner up post six matches followed by Enigma Gaming who took the third place in the overall scoreboard.

BGMI Showdown Finals summary
The BGMI Showdown Finals was a one day affair only played by sixteen teams. A total of six matches were played in the finals to decided the victors. Here is a detailed analysis of each match at the finals-
Match 1
The first match was played at the Erangel map with teams playing safe initially after choosing different drop locations. Fan favorite team, Team Soul was unfortunately eliminated earlier after claiming 4 finishes. Skylightz Gaming pulled up an impressive chicken dinner after strategically playing against other players of Team XO and Enigma Gaming.
Match 2
The second match of BGMI Showdown Finals took place at the snow map-Vikendi. 7Sea Esports became victorious in this match after defeating Skylightz Gaming who still managed to add some survival points to their overall scoreboard. Sarangg from 7Sea Esports took the highest finishes in this match.
Match 3
Following a short break, the third match resumed at Erangel with 16 teams looking confident to leave a mark upon this tournament. The last circle saw an intense match between Team Kinetic and Orangutan Esports, the latter team, however, managed to pull it off and become the winner with 11 finishes.
Match 4
Orangutan Esports missed the chicken dinner at the fourth match of BGMI Showdown Finals by an inch as the last player, Ash was defeated by the members of Hydra Esports. The winning team took 8 number of finishes at this match, wiping squads at the end zone efficiently.
Match 5
Miramar was chosen for the fifth match of this tournament. Team Soul played well enough to claim 8 finishes, however, they got eliminated at the fourth position. Orangutan was once again the victorious team at this match after they eliminated the last member from 7sea Esports.
Match 6
The sixth and final match of BGMI Showdown Finals was won by 7Sea Esports which became their deciding match as they were just below Orangutan Esports at the overall scoreboard before the final match. Team INS and Hydra Esports also played well to claim the second and third position respectively.
