Krafton had rolled out the patch notes for the 1.8.5 update or February update which is going to bring an exclusive Jujutsu Kaisen themed game mode and a new Arena map named Santorini. The Santorini map in BGMI is already available in the game and here is how to play the mode with your friends.

Santorini map in BGMI is designed in the form of Santorini Island located southeast from the Greek mainland. One of the core attraction of this new Arena map is that a total of sixteen players (8vs8) can play this new mode. Unlike previous Arena maps like Hangar and Warehouse, Santorini map in BGMI is going to be much wider providing a lot of space for taking cover from enemies.

How to play Santorini map in BGMI with friends?

Santorini map in BGMI has been released today in the game. Players can find this mode in the Unranked section where other maps and modes such as TDM, Arcade can be found. Unlike previous Arena maps, players need to follow a different method while selecting their friends.

  • STEP 1: Head over to the Unranked section and select either Team Deathmatch or Arena for Santorini.
  • STEP 2: A new box will appear on the left side of player’s screen. Tap on the + icon to add your friends.
  • STEP 3: After selecting the required number of teammates, click on start

The main feature of Santorini map in BGMI is that players can take on 8 opponents at a time instead of the previous four one. Apart from that, the objective score has been set to 80 which means players need to get a total of 80 finishes in order to win the match.

Santorini map consists of a beautiful location with a wider play area. Players can climb the stairs placed at different locations of the map to take better cover from their enemies.
