When Battlegrounds Mobile India was released and third-party organizers started hosting tournaments, GodLike Esports maintained a consistent and dominant form in multiple BGMI tournaments. However, their performance is on a downward slope recently which has led several fans to wonder whether the team’s era is finished.

Responding to all these rumors and speculations, a prominent caster of the game Mazy responded to fans’ questions about the current form of the popular team.

Zishan “Mazy” Alam who recently became the analyst for the Revenant Esports BGMI roster actively takes participation in answering the queries of his fans through his daily livestream. In one such recent Livestream session, Mazy discussed on the performance of GodLike Esports who are struggling to maintain a good performance in multiple tournaments.

“Everyone has their own era and own time. It might fade away eventually as a new team overtakes you. If they (GodLike Esports) make some changes to correct things, which I believe they are doing, every team wishes to perform well but things are currently not turning in favor of GodLike Esports. Most probably, they will bounce back soon.”

The previous year was considered the golden time for GodLike Esports as the former TSM roster consisting of star players such as Jonathan and Clutchgod won most of the BGMI tournaments, be they official or unofficial. They also made headlines after winning Skyesports 2021 tournament and being selected for the Indian team at PMGC 2021.

However, fans might have noticed that the star-studded team is struggling to reach the top position or stay in the list of top 10 teams. Even though the players such as Jonathan and Neyoo are trying to give their best, things do not seem to be in favor of the team as highlighted by the caster.

GodLike Esports finished at the 10th and 13th position in BMOC The Grind Finals and BGMI All-Stars Invitational, a LAN event conducted by Loco and NODWIN Gaming respectively. While fans are doubtful whether the team could come back anytime soon, Mazy is hopeful for the team to dominate once again.
