Soul Sid reveals teaming up allegations against Team Soul
Soul Sid, the manager of Team Soul is one of the most outspoken personalities in the BGMI community. Be it any any controversy, the popular streamer and content creator always contributes his opinions on different aspects as well as gives updates on major occurrences in the community.
Recently, he became the talk of the community again as he accused two well-known teams of Battlegrounds Mobile India of teaming up during the BGMI Showdown 2022, the official LAN event hosted by Krafton this year.

Soul Sid accuses players of teaming up in BGMI Showdown
BGMI Showdown was the first ever official LAN tournament of Battlegrounds Mobile India featuring a prize pool of 15 lakhs INR. The major tournament occurred just after NODWIN Gaming’s BGMI Master Series that was televised in India. The ‘Showdown’ took place for four days, it was during the third day that Soul Sid spoke up about two prominent teams teaming up together.
These teams, as mentioned by Siddhant Joshi aka Soul Sid are none other than GodLike Esports and Team INS. While the former team is quite well-known consisting of a star-studded roster of Jonathan, Neyoo, Shadow and others, the latter team is an underdog team in the community.
During his livestream, Soul Sid stated that after the second match, it was a well planned team up against Team Soul, who came 7th in this tournament, walking home with 40K INR. He even called this ‘a dark day in eSports’, mentioning that everything including the drop locations were well planned against his team.
For readers unaware about teaming up, it is a situation where two or three different teams join hands together to turn all odds against a particular team. This phenomenon is highly disregarded in the eSports industry and often strict actions are taken against the accused players.
Team Soul is currently focused on the PUBG Mobile World Invitational, as they were able to secure their slot after claiming victory at the Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series 2022.
