BGMI The Grind Scrims Day 1
Krafton had announced BGMI The Grind Scrims as an invitational tournament where 32 teams will battle as a form of practice before the major event, BGMI India Series 2021 begins. The invitational tournament will award the winner with 1 lakh INR and will run along the in game qualifiers of BGIS 2021.
The tournament’s league stage will run for two weeks and the first day concluded today. After a total of 4 matches played between the 4 groups, OR Esports is leading the scoreboard with 51 points and 24 finishes. At the second position stands Team Forever, a team that isn’t known widely but demonstrated an incredible performance today to add 34 points to the table. At the third place stands Orangutan Gaming with 43 points and 13 elimination points. Let us know the full standings after League Stage Day 1.
BGMI The Grind Scrims: Day 1 Results
The first match was played at the classic map Erangel and teams from group A and B clashed together. Both these groups consisted of big teams such as Global Esports and Team Soul, therefore, fans were ardently waiting for the match. Surprisingly, The chicken dinner at this match was claimed by Orangutan Gaming. At the second place stood Team Insane Esports, Marcos Gaming also played well to score 17 total points.

The second match of BGMI The Grind Scrims Day 1 was played at Miramar where teams from Group C and D fought at the battleground. Team GodLike and Team Xspark were some of the big teams in this group. OR Esports showed a dominant performance in this match to claim the first position at the scoreboard, however, accurate clutches at the end by TSM helped the team to win the chicken dinner. Rivalry eSports was the third team to be eliminated with 17 points.
After the friendly match played at Erangel, viewers got to see Match 3 of BGMI The Grind Scrims Day 1 was again played at Sanhok which saw the battle between teams from group B and C. Orangutan Gaming won the third match too with excellent team work. With 16 points, Revenant Esports also played well to stand at the second position. Marcos Gaming played decently to take 14 points and claim the third position.
The fourth and final match of the day was won by OR Esports. Although, Team Xspark gave a brilliant performance where Scout alone took 5 finishes. It was a tough competition between both the teams and at the end, OR Esports snatched away the chicken dinner from XSpark after defeating Scout and Mavi, the last players from the team.
The second day of BGMI The Grind Scrims league stage is going to be live streamed tomorrow at the youtube channel of Battlegrounds Mobile India. Fans can catch the action live at 5:30 PM IST.
