Third-Person Perspective (TPP)

The first time a player used hipfire in third-person mode in Modern Warfare 2 Beta, ADS brought the player a first-person perspective that confused most of the players.

However, a recent improvement preserves third-person POV when using ADS at ranges below 4x magnification. This means you can enjoy hipfire in fast-paced combat for third-person players.

Additionally, the FOV slider for this mode has been increased from 90 as seen in the beta to 120 in the final game. This increases the player’s field of view and allows them to move faster around the map while eliminating enemies.

Activision and Infinity Ward have also confirmed plans to improve audio balance, visibility, and lobby spread on launch day as further improvements to the game post-beta.
