The adored 10v10 Mosh Pit multiplayer playlist has been removed from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s playlist as of this week, according to Infinity Ward. On March 15, the Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded update went live and added a variety of fresh content.
The Himmelmatt Expo map, the Drop Zone mode, a Raid Episode, and fresh Path of the Ronin tasks are all part of this new Season 2 DLC. The update also included 10v10 Mosh Pit to the playlist, giving users the chance to play classic 6v6 maps with bigger teams. Players loved the 10v10 mode, but Infinity Ward is getting rid of it as part of the playlist update this week.

10v10 Mosh Pit gets dumped in latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 playlist update
The 10v10 Mosh Pit multiplayer playlist has been completely removed and replaced with Close Quarters Mosh Pit in the Modern Warfare 2 playlist update on March 22. Due to the loss of fan-favorite playlists, the player community has expressed considerable irritation regarding the return of Himmelmatt 24/7, One in the Chamber, All or Nothing, Drop Zone, and 3rd Person Mosh Pit from the March 15 playlist update.
For instance, the famous Shipment map can be seen at Close Quarters Mosh Pit. However, the Shipment 24/7 playlist will not be back this week. In light of the absence of the 10v10 Mosh Pit this week, Modern Warfare 2 gamers who wish to try playlists outside of the standard 6v6 modes must play Ground War.
In contrast to 10v10 Mosh Pit, Modern Warfare 2’s Ground War mode accommodates up to 64 players across some of the game’s largest maps and offers a very different experience. Conversely, 10v10 Mosh Pit prioritizes the maps traditionally utilized for traditional 6v6 modes while enabling more players to be on the field simultaneously.
Popular maps like Shipment and Dome have been added to Close Quarters Mosh Pit, but the most recent playlist update has some active Modern Warfare 2 players questioning and doubting it. In Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded, there is still a high demand for the specialized Shipment 24/7 mode, and 10v10 Mosh Pit has been one of the most popular playlists recently.
The withdrawal of 10v10 Mosh Pit may well have disappointed Modern Warfare 2 players, but if there is still strong demand, it might be brought back in a future playlist update. The course of action will ultimately be taken by Infinity Ward, and the studio’s current focus on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 may influence whether or not the 10v10 mode is brought back.
