Ranked Play in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is no longer permitted to utilize a popular new weapon, the ISO Hemlock. Recent releases of Modern Warfare 2’s second season include a huge number of new game modes, maps, weaponry, and other long-time requested improvements.

Ranked Play, a highly competitive 4v4 mode that calls for players to play by a very particular set of rules and win in order to rank up and receive rewards and show off to other players as well, is one of the major new elements in Modern Warfare 2. Since they may be too powerful, unbalanced, or better suited for more casual gameplay, a number of weapons, perks, and other items have been prohibited from Ranked Play, including the ISO Hemlock.

Fans were attempting to choose the best gun to use when Ranked Play began last week. As a result, they shifted their attention to the ISO Hemlock, a new assault weapon introduced in Season 2 because there is nothing to unlock in ranked play; everything is given to you as if you are max level.

This new AR is only accessible outside of Ranked Play through the Battle Pass, and it’s fantastic. It became the meta weapon and players began exploring their builds of the weapon the day after Ranked Play launched in the Call of Duty game. The ISO Hemlock has been restricted or banned from Ranked Play as a result of it turning into a weapon that fans despised being killed with.

You might still be able to create a Hemlock class, but if you try to utilize it by entering a match, you will just receive a TAQ-56. As they became accustomed to its style, some fans are somewhat torn about this. Others are happy about the gun’s elimination from Modern Warfare 2 because they think it will add diversity to the players’ inventory.

It is unknown if the Hemlock will come back to Ranked Play. It’s possible that Infinity Ward will try to balance the gun more, although doing so would probably have an impact on how well it performs in Warzone and other game modes.
