The release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was amazing, and shocked many. It has already broken the records that earlier entries had established. On its path to earning $1 billion in its first 10 days, the game managed to earn $800 million in its opening weekend sales.

The majority of the gaming community has praised the game. Additionally, it came in first place on PlayStation’s list of the top 20 PS5 titles downloaded in October.

The top 20 downloaded titles for the PS4, PSVR, and free-to-play (PS5+PS4) systems have also been listed by PlayStation. In the US/Canada and EU territories, FIFA 23 is the top-ranked PS4 game, while Modern Warfare 2 is ranked second. NFL ProERA ’22 and Job Simulator are the PS VR games that have been downloaded the most in the US/Canada and EU, respectively.

Overwatch 2 is the free-to-play game that has received the most downloads across both regions (PS5 + PS4). This shows just how much of a dominant start Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has had.
