Call of Duty MW 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 reloaded: New maps, operators, ranked play, and more in the new update

Call of Duty MW 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 added some new elements to the game which turned the tide for the community and with the new Season 3 reloaded update it is set to make things more interesting. In the previous update of MW 2 and Warzone 2, players got to enjoy maps like Al Mazrah and Ashika Island in a new way with the new resurgence game mode.

The new MW 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded update brings even more exciting content to the game. This update includes new maps, game modes (an old classic), and a real MVP operator. Besides that, there is also new gun camo and eye-catching player skin which will surely entice the COD community.

Even though Infinity Ward saw a drop in their player base this new Reloaded update may turn the tide for them.

A brand new map called Alboran Hatchery

It seems like Infinity Ward wants to shake things up with the map pool of MW 2. They will introduce a brand new 6v6 Multiplayer map called Alboran Hatchery. The description reads in the official update says that it’s a mid-size map where players can compete for stealth operations. Moreover, the devs want players to gather intel and make strategic plans to utilize the surroundings. So, it is possible this could be the next search-and-destroy game mode map.

Players should get ready to tackle the infected in larger battle royale maps. Moreover, you may need to team up with other survivors in order to make it out alive and not become infected yourselves.

3×3 Faceoff

Infinity Ward is bringing back an old classic from the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 days. Players will line up in 3v3 matches that the devs are calling Faceoff. This game mode will most likely be a death match.

Two new weapons

CS Magna

The official description for this Desert Eagle-style side arm is, “This fully automatic .50 GS boasts a thunderous rate of fire and enough power to put an end to anyone foolish enough to cross your path, hold down the trigger and let this .50 Cal Speak for itself.”

Moreover, the devs compare this pistol to the highly popular X13 Auto. If CS Magna is anything like what CS: GO Desert Eagle then Call of Duty players are in for a treat.

FTAC Siege

“Designed to be compact and maneuverable. This SMG has a jaw-dropping fire rate and rapid swap speed. A trusted secondary for up-close engagements.” reads the official description of FTAC Seige.

Apparently, this gun is highly customizable and a fully automatic machine pistol with exciting new attachments to choose from. If you are well versed with CS: GO weapons then this will remind you of TEC 9 pistol.

Weapon camos and Trophy hunts

Similar to the previous season, the new Season 3 Reloaded of Call of Duty MW 2 and Warzone 2 is set to add attractively looking weapon camouflages. Players need to complete one challenge of the specific weapons in order to acquire the weapon camo. Additionally, players stand a chance to earn a special Weapon Charm to show their mastery of the Reloaded Trophy Hunt.

All the challenges for the event:

• Assault Rifles: Get 250 Operator Kills.
• Battle Rifles: Get 30 Headshot Operator Kills.
• SMGs: Get 3 Operator Kills Without Dying 30 times.
• Shotguns: Get 30 Hipfire Operator Kills.
• LMGs: Get 50 Operator Kills While Mounted.
• Marksman Rifles: Get 25 Longshot Operator Kills.
• Sniper Rifles: Get 30 Longshot Operator Kills.
• Sidearms: Get 50 Operator Kills.
• Launcher: Get 40 Operator Kills.
• Melee: Get 30 Operator Kills from Behind.

Moreover, players enjoyed the throwing stars (shuriken) during Season 2 Resurgence. So Infinity has decided to add it to the game and they can unlock it by getting  50 kills using a Throwing Knife.

Warzone 2 exclusives in Season 3 reloaded

New DMZ location Koschei Complex

Although not much is known about the new DMZ location Koschei Complex, however, Infinity Ward does share that it’s somewhere in AL Mazrah. Apparently, players need to locate entrances (which indicates it can be accessed from multiple points) to complete missions. Moreover, the devs left very important advice to the players “adding illumination to your hardware; flashlights might be needed.” This raises the question that how dark is the complex that Infinity Ward is talking about.

Warzone 2 to add a Ranked play Beta

Similar to Call of Duty MW 2 Ranked play, developers are looking to add Warozne 2 Ranked but in the new Season 3 Reloaded update. However, it will only be a Beta until further notice. Moreover, the new Warzone 2 ranked beta will have competitive settings, a progressive rank system, and a visual skill system. Additionally, players will earn various seasonal rewards.

First of all, players will begin with Bronze and continue to climb up the ranks and get high placements. The new Ranked mode in Battle Royale will have a Skill Rating system.

• Bronze: 0–899 SR
• Silver: 900–2,099 SR
• Gold: 2,100–3,599 SR
• Platinum: 3,600–5,399 SR
• Diamond: 5,400–7,499 SR
• Crimson: 7,500–9,999 SR
• Iridescent: 10,000 SR minimum
• Top 250: 10,000+ SR

To increase your Skill Rating (SR), you must obtain assists and eliminations, and achieve a high placement within the match. You will need to pay a modest SR entry fee to enter a match. After the match, you will receive an SR summary that outlines your SR adjustments. The Top 250 Skill Division and a public leaderboard will showcase the most skilled players.

Return of the Plunderer

Players got to play with this fast-paced game called Plunderer in Call of Duty Warzone. Infinity Ward has decided to reintroduce this fan-favorite mode where stakes are higher as you drop with your pre-equipped Loadout in a battle royal death match. This mode’s primary objective is to loot and plunder money.

New Operator skins in Season 3 Reloaded MW 2 and Warzone 2

• Kevin Durant operator bundle:
  Kevin Durant, considered one of basketball’s greatest players of all time, will be immortalized in the 20-year Call of Duty franchise as an official Operator. A special limited-time Store Bundle will be released with Season 03 Reloaded, featuring KD’s Operator and two Weapon Blueprints referencing his iconic nicknames. The Bundle also includes other KD-themed items such as a Finishing Move, Weapon Charm, Loading Screen, Sticker, and Animated Emblem. Additionally, KD will be featured in Call of Duty: Mobile’s Season 4 – Veiled Uprising with a themed Draw available for purchase, as well as a Themed Event where players can earn KD Tokens to unlock various rewards.
• Throwback Audio bundle:
  Season 03 Reloaded is bringing back memories with the ultimate taste of nostalgia. The Throwback Pack: ’09 Weapon Audio Bundle will transport players back to the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) with two Weapon Blueprints featuring retro-fitted audio and familiar attachments. Additionally, the bundle includes the “Classic Soap” Operator Skin, the “Hacked” Emblem (legitimately), and other items for a complete throwback experience.
• VII: Wrath bundle: The VII series continues with the release of VII: Wrath, a bundle worth highlighting. Players can channel their adrenaline into the new “Anger Management” Weapon Blueprint for an LMG, which pairs perfectly with the included “Ire” Weapon Blueprint for an Overkill Loadout. To become the embodiment of wrath, players can equip the “The Vengeful” Operator Skin for Ronin, as well as the Charm, Sticker, and Emblem to intimidate their opponents. More Bundles are set to drop during Season 03 Reloaded, including highly requested options that will be a dream come true for many players in the community.
• WSOW Rat bundle: This bundle features the “Cheesy” Operator Skin and two powerful weapon blueprints: the “Cheesin’” SMG and the “Spicy Meatballs” LMG, both of which can dominate in Battle Royale matches. Along with various cosmetic items, the bundle also includes a one-hour Double XP and a one-hour Double Weapon XP token to help you level up your weapons and climb up the Prestige ranks in no time.

Call of Duty League 2023 Championship Pack

The new Season 3 Reloaded will also add the Call of Duty League 2023 Championship Pack. As the pro competition heats up before the Call of Duty League Championship Weekend kicks off on June 15-18, the league recently refreshed its Team Packs to help fans show their support for their favorite team. Moreover, each 2023 Team Pack includes a team-designed weapon blueprint, a weapon charm, and five signature stickers from players on that specific team’s roster.

This pack includes a new “King” Operator Skin for the official CDL Operator, as well as a “Diamonds” Assault Rifle and “Rubies” Sniper Rifle Weapon Blueprints, both of which are designed to help players stand out in the post-season.

When does the new Call of Duty MW2 and Warzone 2 Reloaded begin?

Season 3 Reloaded of Call of Duty MW 2 and Warzone 2 will go live on May 10th. The servers will be available by 10 AM PT. So, start grinding all the DMZ missions if you haven’t already done so.
