Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has been doing extremely well for its Debut week. All the players are excited about this new game mode called the DMZ. Ghostofsaba took to Twitter to reveal some details about this new game mode. It states that- Choose where your squad will fill in the DMZ. Only bring what you need. When you die in the DMZ you lose all gear and loot. Loot, complete missions, and get to the chopper to secure your haul.

Another leak reveals that there will be a location selection between El Bagra Fortress, Al-Safwa, Rohan Oil, and Zargwa Hydroelectric. This might mean that there will be separate maps in the Al-Mazrah map or the team leader might choose a location to infil from at the beginning of the match.

Another thing is if the player dies in the game they will lose everything they had looted during their raid and this makes it much more competitive as players will know that might lose their gear. like the other extraction hunter shooter game modes, players will need to have self-preservation thoughts and not go blindly into gun fights.

DMZ or Demilitarized Zone mode is an extraction Looter shooter mode similar to escape From Tarkov. DMZ is scheduled to be released on 16th November. DMZ is based on survival and realism and offers real life.

It has 4 infill locations and is based on the whole Al-Mazrah map. This mode will have both PvP and PvE modes, Players may complete objectives or choose to extract and the game move on to the next day.

As the servers are always live players can log in and log off at any time saving their progress. Players will have to call for extraction using a flare gun. A new leak from Ghostofsaba reveals that the DMZ will have eight exclusive looting options and shows the game mode has good looting possibilities.

With all that together this game mode is coming out to be hardcore as compared to other COD game modes.
