Fans of the Call of Duty franchise are enjoying exploring some of the new features in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, which has officially gone online. The game introduces a variety of fresh gaming elements and game modes.

The community is particularly interested in the Assimilation feature, though. Players that make use of the Assimilation feature during a match can join opposing squads that are close by. This adds a whole new element to Warzone 2’s gameplay.

Utilizing the Assimilation function is more difficult than it appears. Additionally, the game doesn’t really do a great job of explaining how it operates to players.

As was previously established, Warzone 2’s Assimilation function allows you to team up with opposing Operators and form sizable squads. There is a limit though. Players will only be able to use the Assimilation feature in Duos, Third Person Trios, Unhinged Trios, and Quads.

Steps to Follow:

When playing a match, you have to use the in-game Ping Wheel. To achieve this, hold Up on the D-Pad for Warzone 2 on consoles or the Alt button for Warzone 2 on PC.

Holding the Ping Wheel button will keep the menu visible while you look for the Assimilation option.

Once you’ve located the option in the menu, all you have to do is choose it, and you will be able to join the opposition squad.

If you see the Refill symbol, it implies that the mode you are playing on allows you to use the Assimilation tool to add more players to your squad. Using the Ping Wheel, you can choose to join the opposing team if there is an open spot if you wish to betray your squad and play against them. If you wish to invite opponent players to your side, you can do the same.

In the Call of Duty series, the Assimilation function adds a brand-new type of gameplay mechanic. It will definitely result in some in-game betrayals, which will undoubtedly spice up the game.
