Call of Duty Warzone 2 Season 1 is going great. Following the game’s release on November 16, the first season began. Being a free-to-play Battle Royale game, the title is susceptible to losing its appeal over time unless the creators continue to roll out entertaining content updates and gameplay improvements. So finally, Activision has released news about the new content coming to Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

Season 2 for the Call of Duty Warzone 2 will drop on 15 February. Devs have packed some new free content and new game modes for players. Season 2 was supposed to start on 1 February. But due to some unknown issue, it was delayed to 15 February. Players were quite upset about this delay but the recent leaks and the official teaser have excited fans about the upcoming new season.

Call of Duty’s official Twitter handle posted that the devs are working on some changes which were suggested by the player base. Many aspects of the game are criticized by players, such as the game’s weird Gulag mechanics, slow gameplay caused by the game’s huge map, old weapon meta, and unfair looting system. With Season 2, Infinity Ward may have addressed several significant player grievances.

The Resurgence mode will finally be added in Warzone 2. It was a popular mode in the original Warzone. But It was removed with the release of Call of Duty Warzone 2. Due to its quick-paced features, such as no-Gulag respawns, compact maps, and a low player count per match, which is great for aggressive plays, Resurgence is a popular game mode.

As for the new weapons go, Activision has not revealed anything. But thanks to a data miner, it was leaked that the Crossbow and Vepr- Shotgun might be coming in next season.

New inclusions in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Activision is also including some new content to Modern Warfare 2 with the new season 2. New multiplayer maps, weapons, and game modes are set to arrive in Modern Warfare 2. Modern Warfare 2 will also be getting the ranked mode back. This will make players feel a bit more competitive while playing the game. The ranked mode of Modern Warfare 2 could replace CDL Moshpit in Call of Duty.

Many players will be hopeful that Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will usher in a new era for the games.
