Clash of Clans event challenges: How to complete Colour Fest – Painter King challenge

The first challenge for the Colour Fest season in Clash of Clans is now live.

Clash of Clans releases new event challenges to keep the game exciting. This month, as part of the Colour Fest season, Supercell added a brand new Painter skins pack for all heroes. The event challenges make these seasonal events even more enjoyable in Clash of Clans. You will see 4 different challenges throughout the Colour Fest season based on each hero.

The first challenge is the Painter King challenge. Clash of Clans content creator Clashing N Games created this challenge. It is quite an easy challenge if you compare it to CWL challenges. It features a maxed-out Town Hall 11 base. To take down this base, you will get a good mix of troops. However, since it’s a Painter King challenge, only Barbarian King with the new Painter skin will be available. Which means you have to attack without Grand Warden and Archer Queen. You will also get to see new Painter scenery in-game which you can get by buying and completing the Gold Pass.

Here’s how you can destroy the new Painter King challenge base to get some rewards in Clash of Clans.

Steps to complete Colour Fest – Painter King challenge in Clash of Clans

The base layout is not too complicated and is rather very straightforward. It is always good if you try out the challenge by yourself at first. You will get to know about the Clash Castle troops and the trap location on the base. You will have 5x Goblins, 5x Super Balloons, 13x Balloons, 2x Baby Dragons, 3x Electro Dragons, 1x Stone Slammer, 2x Rage spells, 5x Freeze spells, 1x Poison spell, and 1x Skeleton spell. If you have a hard time clearing the base then follow these steps:

Drop 2 Balloons toward the Archer Tower at the bottom right end and 1 balloon at the bottom right end where the wall segments start. The 2 balloons you dropped will clear the Archer Tower and the one in end will trigger all the air bombs and other traps.
After triggering all the traps, drop 1 normal balloon and 3 super balloons toward the inferno tower at the bottom right end. The main motive is to destroy the Inferno Tower and the Hidden Tesla there.
Now as soon as the Inferno Tower goes down, deploy your Barbarian King in front of the canon in the middle of the right side of the base followed by dropping 3 Electro Dragons on the gold mines in the top right corner. Shortly after, Clan Castle troops will pop out. Just drop the poison spell and you are good to go.
While your Barbarian King and Electro dragons clear the right side of the map, drop 1 Baby Dragon on the bottom left gold mine and one Baby Dragon on the Archer Tower adjacent to this gold mine. Drop the remaining Super Balloons toward the Air Defense to clear out this Air Defense.
Now drop your remaining Balloons and all Dragons alongside Stone Slammer from the bottom middle part of the base.
Use your spell accordingly to support your troops. You can later deploy Goblins to assist you.

Like most of the Challenges in Clash of Clans, the reward for completing this challenge isn’t too spicy. You will get 400 XP, 20 gems, and a Hero Potion alongside loot you will get while attacking the base.
