Following the recent ban of prominent Twitch streamer and Fortnite professional player Clix, the fans have been saying that the ban was too harsh on him. Epic Games had banned Clix from Fortnite for a period of 2 weeks. They had also disqualified the streamer from the FNCS 2023 after being caught “teaming” in a professional Fortnite tournament.
Epic had recently announced that the FNCS 2023 would have the biggest prize pool in its history of $10 million. The ban of one of Fortnite’s best professional players Clix has left the community shocked. Clix has apologized and pleaded his innocence to Epic, but has not received any good news. Earlier today the streamer tweeted to his account requesting fans to help him persuade Epic games to lift his ban from the FNCS. The Fortnite community has been really supportive and the hashtag #Freeclix is being widely used by fans to help Clix get his position in the FNCS back.
Cody “Clix” Conrod was banned from Fortnite and its eSports tournament FNCS under the premise of cheating in a professional tournament. The Fortnite professional received a ban on 24th of April 2023 after he was caught “teaming” in a $100 Cash Cup Tournament. He had explained that his circumstance for “teaming” was that he was being harassed by a stream sniper throughout the game and finally lost his cool and reacted in the way causing him to get banned. The 18 year old streamer has apologized for it and is hopeful that he will be forgiven and his ban lifted. However, Epic has not responded to it in any way whatsoever.

Not everyone is sad about Clix’s ban from FNCS
The Fortnite community has been supporting Clix following his ban from FNCS 2023 and has been helping him request Epic to lift his ban. People have been feeling sorry for the 18 year old Fortnite professional as he had recently moved away from his hometown of Connecticut to pursue a career in eSports. The recent ban from the FNCS 2023 does not look good for him.
Although the Fortnite community and other streamers have been supportive of Clix, a few of them have been enjoying the benefits of his ban. Fellow competitor and professional Fortnite player Khanada during a recent interview stated that Clix’s ban was good for him. He went on to explain that with Clix now banned, he could take Clix’s landing spot during the FNCS 2023 and that was very profitable for the Dignitas pro.
Epic has not released any further information on Clix’s ban as of yet. All that can be said for the 18 year old is that he is probably going to miss the FNCS 2023 due to a silly mistake.
