Dr Disrespect delivers GMHikaru a gift after Twitch banned chess streamer for watching his content for 3 days

Hikaru Nakamura
After receiving a three-day suspension for observing him during a live broadcast, Dr Disrespect has promised to offer GMHikaru a unique gift. Hikaru ‘GMHikaru’ Nakamura, TSM’s chess sensation, paid a high price for watching Dr Disrespect stream chess.

Doc’s Twitch suspension is still a mystery, but the broadcaster claimed on March 10 that he had settled his dispute with the platform. Many people were perplexed by this, believing that it was now safe to play or interact with two-time on Twitch.

Hikaru claimed that after settling things with the site, he was under the notion that he was free to broadcast Dr Disrespect’s content.
Normally, streamers would avoid Doc since it is “prohibited to use your stream to deliberately showcase or publicise a suspended user,” according to Twitch’s guidelines. However, it’s understandable that some people mistook Doc’s lawsuit as a sign that everything was now well. In any case, Hikaru was greeted by the two-time himself, who informed him that a bottle of Black Steel Bourbon was on its way.
Doc has teased his bourbon before, most notably when he said one of his 2022 New Year’s plans was to create a bourbon business, which amusingly also included obtaining a large reward from Twitch.
It’s unclear when the startup will launch, or if Doc is secretly working on his bourbon, but it’s wonderful to see the iconic YouTuber reach out now to Hikaru after his first-ever suspension.
Nakamura’s viewers cautioned him about the likelihood of suspension at the time. Despite the settlement, Dr Disrespect is still banned from Twitch and is unable to stream with other Twitch users, according to the site’s community guidelines. It was chess, but it was also a very obvious breach of Twitch policy.
Nakamura may have honestly assumed that because it was a kings game, everything would be alright, but he’s also the most popular chess streamer on the internet and someone with a sly streak. He enjoys poking the bear.
