The love/hate relationship between Call of Duty and Dr Disrespect doesn’t seem to end. Call of Duty Warzone 2 is nearing its launch, and is all set to reach gamers along with Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Season 1. Albeit the wait, we already know most of the things which would be coming to the game thanks to the early access many of the streamers got. One particular feature which is the talk of the community, is a new one, coming to the game. This feature, known as the DMZ mode, is going to be an open world map which has been called Call of Duty’s take on the Extraction Shooter genre. Many streamers got to experience the game’s new mode, along with Dr Disrespect, who wasn’t very happy with it.

In a recent tweet, Dr Disrespect voiced his opinions against the new DMZ mode, where he proclaimed that the mode was dead and wasn’t interesting enough to anyone except 6th grade kids. Fellow streamer Dr. Lupo, who seemed to like this DMZ mode, didn’t quite understand why Doc didn’t like it, but he did give him reasons explaining his issues with the mode.
What is this DMZ mode that Dr Disrespect doesn’t like ?
As per the information given by streamers, a picture can be put together, giving information about this new mode of gameplay. In the DMZ mode, players drop in as a trio in the Al-Mazrah map of Warzone and have to work their way through the place, completing specific objectives, participating in gunfights or just looting. All this is done while battling AIs that are sprawling across the map. They can also choose to do extraction missions. Most of these AIs are “recruit level” while some AIs, especially near the strongholds or the objective areas, might be a bit harder to defeat.
Dr Disrespect just recently made his comeback to Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, which he had earlier rage quit after playing for just 72 hours, or about 3 days. He was also trolled by his audience for a pretty weird record, which he tweeted about, which also acted as the announcement post about his return to MWII, a return which was short lived, probably because of the trolls, as he shifted again to playing COD Warzone 2. There have been mixed reaction by streamers regarding this new mode, but the players need to wait till the 16th to actually find out how the DMZ Mode really is.
