After a tease from EA Sports regarding FC 24, the trailer is finally out. Furthermore, EA Sports reveals the EA Sports FC 24, with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland as the cover star, replacing Kylian Mbappe and Sam Kerr. EA has developed a new game called EA Sports FC 24, and they are finally giving fans a full reveal. The gameplay has hyped up the fan base with the return of some fan-favorite players.

EA has replaced the Fifa franchise and launched FC 24 with loads of new things. Moreover, among these, the main one is the change in the face/cover star of the game. After 2 years, EA Sports changed the cover star and replaced Kylian Mbappe and Sam Kerr with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland. With three straight covers for FIFA 21, Mbappe became the face of EA. This features the FIFA 23 cover, which Mbappe and Chelsea Women’s forward Kerr shared.

However, unlike Mbappe, Kerr will stick around further in the Ultimate Edition cover, along with Haaland. This is a fresh change of pace for EA Sports as they are now releasing a new franchise.

Since the release of FIFA 19, EA has chosen to utilize an image of its cover star in action four times instead of one taken during a photoshoot. This time, Erling Haaland is lining up a shot while raising his arm in a Champions League match. The addition of the Champions League on the cover is a really big thing. So EA adding it to their cover is nothing short of showcasing the authenticity of their game.

It is a nice change of pace for EA Sports, as launching a new series should be coupled with a fresh cover star too. Haaland, who had a fantastic season at Man City, is deserving of the opportunity to replace Mbappe. In 53 games last season, the Norwegian player managed to score 52 goals for City. As a result, his club broke several goalscoring records and went on to win the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup.

EA showed the EA FC 24 cover and a ton of additional details, and they also confirmed that the EA FC 24 standard edition would be released on September 29, 2023. Furthermore, gamers who will go for the ultimate edition will be able to play the game 7 days before the official launch. Although the game has yet to be released, the fan base is hyped with a new series dropping from EA Sports.
