Enigma Gaming lose their first match against Made in Thailand
Enigma Gaming, who lost to Global eSports in the grand finals of the Skyesports Champions Series had their first match in the APAC VCT Qualifiers Stage 2 and here’s what happened!
Enigma went up against the Thai champions Made in Thailand eSports in a Best of three on the second day of the Qualifiers as their first match up.
Enigma Gaming lose to Made in Thailand
The up and coming behemoths of the Indian Valorant eSports scene, Enigma Gaming, was seen going up against Made in Thailand, a team with many laurels on their head.
This was the first time that Enigma Gaming was going up against an International roster and yet they held their own in a way that was beyond commendable.
Map 1 : Haven
The first map of Haven saw the early dominance of Enigma Gaming where they took the first three rounds without hesitance, took a one round break, and went on to take three more! Unfortunately however, they then lost out the rest of the 5 rounds in the half bringing the score up to an even 6-6. Even though Enigma did manage to pull off 5 more rounds, Made in Thailand capitalized on their momentum and won the first map 13-11.

Map 2 : Ascent
Onward to the classic map of Ascent, Enigma Gaming was on yet another roll as they took the first three rounds yet again after which they lost three consecutives themselves. The half went on bout after bout and ended 6-6. The next round however, is where EG really shone. After winning the second pistol and the buy, they only gave out a total of three rounds in the second half to their opponents and in the end, won the map 13-9 with Excali saving the day.
Map 3 : Bind
The very map that EG lost on against Global eSports in the SCS Grand Finals, was the site of their downfall yet again in an otherwise evenly matched fight. The game started out just the opposite way as Made in Thailand was the one that managed to take away 3 rounds where EG struggled to set their foot down. Both halves went on 6-6 as we came on to overtime and MiTH took the game away as well as the series with the most amazing shotgun plays coming in from AloNeFillz.
Enigma Gaming will now be continuing their run in the Lower Brackets of the tournament and we are surely excited to see what they are still capable of as the performance against MiTH was nothing short of impressive!
