Fortnite has been keenly collaborating with other popular media out there. From a huge collaboration with Marvel, Star Wars, and even God of War, Fortnite just doesn’t miss. And the crossover this time has hyped up the player base a lot. The popular animated sitcom Futurama is coming to Fortnite.  So get ready for the Fortnite x Futurama collab. Furthermore, the official trailer for the Fortnite x Futurama collaboration dropped on July 26.

Fornite has been notorious for bringing popular fictional and non-fictional characters like Travis Scott to Fortnite. The game even has crossovers with other games! Fortnite even has a collab with God of War & Borderlands. Furthermore, its recent collaboration with Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse was a huge success. So it’s pretty evident for Fortnite to do collabs that the fan base will love. And the upcoming Fortnite X Futurama is going to be wild.

Futurama is an animated sitcom released in 1999. Furthermore, many memes have been inspired by this sitcom, with the most popular one being “Shut up and take my money”! Moreover, this collaboration from Epic Games has hyped the fan base.

New collaborations coming to Fortnite usually divide the fan base, with a lot in favor of the skin and some against it. However, this newly announced collaboration of Fortnite and Futurama has left the player base in awe. This shows that the collab is going to be a hit. This new collab has hit stores on July 26th after a content update. Furthermore, Fortnite has released a trailer for this collection.

The teaser features Mega City POI, which displays the legendary Hypnotoad on a big digital screen in the city. The program shows a Planet Express spacecraft swooping in and slamming into the screen with the recognizable ‘Hypnotoad,’ breaking it precisely like in the show’s recognizable beginning when it debuted in early 1999, soon after it starts. Skins and other cosmetics are probably going to be a part of this new crossover, and there could even be some in-game goodies.

Fortnite x Futurama: Cosmetics & Cost

This new collaboration has released Three new outfits for players and their respective in-game goodies. The overall cost of the entire Outfits bundle is 2800 V-Bucks. And this time, the respective goodies like Pickaxes and Back Blings come with the Futurama Gear Bundle, which costs 1,800 V-Bucks. Every respective outfit costs 1,800 V-Bucks, and the gears of the bundle cost 800 V-Bucks. Here’s a detailed list of the cosmetics in this collection:

However, that’s not all. This new collection has a special glider and emote too. It’s the Planet Express Ship Glider and Zoidberg Scuttle Emote. Players can find all these in the item shop.

Fortnite x Futurama: Cost & Release Date

This new collection is out now in the Fortnite items shop, dated 26th July. This collab is expansive, as it adds not only 2 outfits to the game but also an in-game mythic rank weapon. The Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun, which is an infinite plasma gun!

The Fortnite x Futurama is going to be Fortnite’s first collab with sitcoms. As yet, Fortnite hasn’t collabed with any Sitcoms, so this is going to be a fresh change of pace for the players. The most recent Fortnite collab has been with Elder Scrolls, so this new collection coming in has hyped up the player base.
