The Sidemen Charity Match 2023 finally went down and it did not disappoint. This year’s annual event saw numerous creators of the content creation scene. Making their way for the first time to the annual event were xQc, Kai Cenat, Duke Dennis, and even JiDion amongst many others. The Sidemen FC however were able to still bring home the victory after a final score of 8-5, taking down the star-studded All-Stars FC.

The event saw monumental success, as the Sidemen had raised over 3 million pounds, which would all be donated to notable charities. The event saw many entertaining moments, especially with the 19-year-old, IShowSpeed. He initially began by slide-tackling MrBeast, very early on in the game. However, later in the 71st minute, he gets slide tackled by MrBeast, who gets his revenge and stops him from potentially scoring a goal.

However, the highlight of the match came at the expense of IShowSpeed taking a penalty. It all went back to last year’s Sidemen Charity Match 2022. IShowSpeed slide-tackled KSI brutally, and stood over him, in a momentary highlight of last year’s matchup. This year, he had also vowed to do the same, despite KSI being announced to be playing as goalkeeper.

It all began when IShowSpeed after successfully tackling KSI, he had performed the famous Cristiano Ronaldo celebration on him, also known as the ‘SUI’. This had prompted KSI to take revenge obviously. As he was playing goalkeeper in order to restrict injuries before his boxing bout on October 14th, he was limited to his abilities to play in the field outside of the goalkeeper box.

However, KSI would get his opportunity later on in the 55th minute of the game, when IShowSpeed got a chance to take a penalty against KSI. IShowSpeed had the chance to finally score a goal, that too against KSI, however, his poor form of shooting failed miserably. KSI then instantly ran towards him, before hitting him with the infamous reverse SUI.

This had fans buzzing at both the terrible penalty IShowSpeed took after all the talks of him scoring a penalty, and also with KSI getting revenge at IShowSpeed and hitting back with his own SUI. The hilarious commentator, Stephen Tries, was even dissing IShowSpeed. He said as Speed missed the penalty “you know what forget CR7, we’ll see you in the changing room you clown”

The Sidemen Charity Match 2023 was overall a monumental success. With its exponential donations, almost tripling their all-time high of 1 million pounds. A lot went down at the London Stadium with a packed crowd. Fans were buzzing throughout the 13-goal thriller game. Fans even saw West Ham fan, Behzinga, score a goal at West Ham’s stadium, and he celebrated with utter joy.
