The National Basketball Association recently partnered with potato chips company Ruffles to organise a basketball match between two teams of celebrities. The Ruffles NBA All-Star celebrity game featured various known personalities. These include NFL Star Micah Parsons and a highly surprising entrant in the form of Kai Cenat.

Fans were shocked when Twitch Streamer Kai Cenat was announced for the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Kai was a part of Team Shannon, coached by Shannon Sharpe. They were going to be facing Team Stephen A, coached by Stephen A Smith.

Kai Cenat was a great addition to the game, as fans knew how much the streamer was a basketball fan. Furthermore, there have been many times when the streamer has impressed fans with his skills! A while back, NBA 2K24 even screened Kai to feature his player model in their game. All this shows how much Kai has been involved in the basketball community.

Kai Cenat posts hilarious Instagram story after disappointing Rubi Rose at Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity game

Prior to the match, American singer Rubi Rose had posted an Instagram story motivating Kai Cenat for the game. She requested Kai to score 30 points for her during the game and blew a kiss to the camera. Many fans joked about how Kai Cenat would pop off at the game and score more than 50 points for a chance with Rubi Rose.

Unfortunately for the New York-based streamer, all the hype surrounding his entry into the match died down quickly. Kai had a terrible performance at the game. There is even a hilarious clip of Kai Cenat being ignored by his teammates while jumping and screaming for a pass.

Despite Team Shannon winning the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game 100-91, Kai Cenat only scored four points the entire time he was on the court. Fans trolled the streamer for fumbling his chance with the famous musician. Kai Cenat even reposted the story on his Instagram account, followed by a meme of LeBron James looking highly disappointed.
