Faze CLan won the PGL Antwerp Major 2022 by defeating NAVI

The PGL Antwerp Major 2022 ended on 22 May 2022 and Faze Clan as the champions of the event and lift the trophy and Faze become the first international CS: GO lineup to be crowned as a major champion.

The Grand Final of PGL Antwerp Major 2022 was played between NAVI and Faze Clan in which FaZe with a 2-0 victory over NAVI, take over the 1st place. The wholesome final was worth it to watch.

The grand final of the PGL Major 2022 is played between the best teams in the world FaZe Clan and Natus Vincere and the final is Bo3 format whoever won the 2 maps gonna crowned as the champion. In which FaZe Clan won by 2-0 in the first two maps and clean swipe the NAVI.

Map 1 – Inferno (FaZe Clan 19-17 NAVI)

Inferno is a pick of FaZe itself, and in the first half of the match, FaZe Clan is dominated by a 10-5 scoreline. In the second half recover the lead which FaZe has and take the map to the overtime, almost 2-3 overtimes played between these teams in which FaZe Clan outshines and defeats NAVI by 19-17 scoreline and take the lead in the finals by 1-0.

Map 2 – Nuke (FaZe Clan 16-10 NAVI)

Nuke is the pick of NAVI, but they fail to take the victory on their side and lost by 16-10 scoreline, in the first of the map just like the first map FaZe Clan already make the lead of 10-5 scoreline. And this time in the second half NAVI failed to come back and lost. With this win, FaZe Clan has been crowned the champions of the PGL Antwerp Major 2022.

FaZe rain and Karrigan performed very well and become the match MVP in both the maps, this is the first international squad that won the major and they all played first time ever a major. With this win, FaZe Clan take the trophy home with the prize money of $500,000 and NAVI was unable to defend the 1st position and came 2nd they get prize money of $250,000.
