FIFA 22: New Perisic Showdown SBC to be Released by EA?
We are nearing the end of the FIFA 22 cycle and appraoching the release of FIFA 23, with only a few more weeks to go till the release of the new game on September 30 (September 27 for those with early access). The Pre-Season event launched by EA in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team marks the final promo of the game.
The Pre-Season promo aims to shift players of FIFA 22 to FIFA 23 once the new game releases this. EA plans to do this by providing rewards in the event, which once earned by completing various SBCs, can be used in FUT 22 and FUT 23 as well, when it releases. Perisic Showdown SBC to be Released in FIFA 22?!
Ivan Perisic has joined Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window. The Croatian is very dynamic, and can be used in a number of positions such as Left Wing, Left Midfield, and Left Wing-Back. Now, Perisic is said to receive a Showdown card in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team along with Argentine forward Julian Alvarez (plays for Manchester CIty), ahead of the weekend’s fixture of Tottenham vs Man City.
Showdown SBCs work by essentially relying on real-world fixtures in football, the results of which determine whether the Showdown card will receive an upgrade or not. Two cards are released as Showdown SBCs in FIFA 22 for a limited time ahead of the fixture for which the cards are meant for, which usually involves placing two teams of relatively equal caliber against each other. The fixture is usually important and carries a lot of hype with it.

The leak of the Perisic Showdown SBC in FIFA 22 comes from none other than reliable FIFA news provider Fut Sheriff himself. Fut Sheriff has been the source of many of the recent leaks, which ended up being officially announced within the next few days by EA Sports. Some of Sheriff’s recent leaks include a Dybala Player Moments, Kounde Showdown, Sterling Player Moments, and many more.
Therefore it’s safe to say that we can expect a Perisic Showdown SBC to be released in FIFA 22 before the upcoming weekend fixture. Although the stats are only a prediction, the stats of the official Showdown Card won’t differ by much. This means the Perisic Showdown Card to be released by EA can be pretty dangerous, and make it an SBC worth doing in. He will receive a +2 to his OVR if his team Tottenham wins, a +1 if it’s a draw, and no change to his rating if Tottenham lose.
