EA Sports has released a new update for FIFA 22 today and it comprises some small changes and fixes for the game. The FIFA 22 Title Update 15 is now live globally on every platform excluding one, with the changes implemented.

This update will feature some minor changes and will be displayed as update 1.28 for PlayStation users. This new patch will be bringing some new changes to certain bugs and hotfixes other quality-of-life changes for a smoother user experience. The updates are currently live on PlayStation 5/4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Meanwhile, the PC and Stadia versions of the update were live last week.

FIFA 23 will be released soon in the game with new trailers showcasing the gameplay and career modes for the game. However, the FIFA 22 edition is regularly getting updates as well, every week. Here are some of the key changes in this FIFA 22 title update 15:

Gameplay

  • Increased the likelihood of a knuckleball shot occurring when requesting a high-powered shot while the ball is 0.67 meters/2.2 feet away from the ball carrier.
  • Added the new Ball Roll Cut 180 Skill Move that can be performed by players with a 4 or 5-star Skill Move rating.
  • Greatly increased the accuracy of low and mid-powered Low Driven Shots.
  • Significantly reduced the reach of attempted shot blocks by AI-controlled players.
  • Significantly decreased the range required for a defender to attempt a tackle without being requested to do so.
  • Increased the distance between the defender and the ball carrier when the defender is requested to Contain or Teammate Contain.

FIFA Ultimate Team Game Mode

  • Fixed: The Compare Price functionality did not always provide search results when used on some Stadium and Consumable items.

VOLTA

  • One of the default Avatars was not wearing shoes on the selection screen, and if that Avatar was selected, shoes could not be equipped for them.

The latest update will fix a certain bug that was not appearing in games will now appear as expected.
