FIFA 22 has released the complete roster of players, the 12th man and the list of honourable mentions. Here is a comparison between Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo in FIFA 22 TOTY promo event.

FIFA 22 TOTY event featured many new player items in the game that have upgraded stats and attributes. The Team XI under the TOTY event has the best roster of players from last year with many fan favourites. Among the top 11, is Lionel Messi, a forward nominee who holds considerable pace and passing amongst his peers. Another one is the 12th man vote, Cristiano Ronaldo, who got included in the game recently!

Messi is definitely a fan-favourite player who had an amazing year with many goals and appearances. He has an OVR rating of 98 and his complete stats are given below:

Ronaldo had initially missed out on the TOTY promo event and was put up for the 12th man vote. He beat out Salah and Benzema to obtain a spot in the team and gets a new player item in the TOTY!

Both the players are in the attacker position and have very similar stats in many of the departments. They both share the same 93 Pace rating making them great forwards.

Messi wins out on the Dribbling stat, meanwhile Ronaldo wins out on the Shooting Stat by a bit. Likewise, Messi has a better Passing Stat, while Ronaldo has a better Physicality stat.
