FIFA 23: De Bruyne and Son Feature as Team of the Week 1 Goes Live
TOTW 1 has been unveiled by EA Sports for FIFA 23
The Team of the Week 1 squad has been unveiled by EA Sports ahead of the release of FIFA 23 on September 27 (for those with early access, and September 30 for the rest). There were some predictions following last weekend’s fixtures, with many players putting up some top-notch performances.
Players of the game who pre-ordered FIFA 23 will get one item from the first Team of the Week that is released in the game for their new Ultimate Team, giving them a boost in the new FUT season. Many quality players have made the list, with some world-class players featured alongside some surprise additions. Have a look below to know more.

FIFA 23 Team of the Week 1 Has Been Revealed
Players from Manchester City, Tottenham, Real Madrid, and Arsenal have all been included in Team of the Week 1 (TOTW 1) in FIFA 23. De Bruyne contributed with two assists in last weekend’s 3-0 win over Wolves to keep the pressure on current Premier League leaders Arsenal, who are on top of the table.
William Saliba’s goal, clean sheet and Man of the Match performance in Arsenal’s 3–0 win against Brentford gave the Gunners a player of their own in EA Sports’ TOTW 1 squad. Heung-Min Son also proved his worth with a Hat-trick against Leicester City in a span of 16 minutes after coming on as a sub for his club Tottenham.

Players can access the TOTW Squad via packs and buy them on the FUT Transfer Market. The FIFA 23 FUT Web App is now live so players can access the FUT Transfer Market there. De Bruyne, Saliba, Son, as well as players from Real Madrid, PSV and more make their first TOTW appearances in FIFA 23. Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde joins the list following his impressive performance in the derby victory over Atletico Madrid, scoring one goal to secure his side’s victory.
