Two new Upgrade SBCs are live in FIFA 23

EA has released two upgrade SBCs for FIFA 23 Ultimate Team in the form of the 80+ Upgrade Challenge and the 80+ TOTW Upgrade Challenge. The former is a relatively low-cost, repeatable SBC, while the latter is non-repeatable.

With the Road to the Knockouts promotion going on, many may miss these relatively minor challenges. But for those looking to diversify their roster with players outside of the RTTK roster, you’ve come to the right place.

How to Complete the 80+ Upgrade and 80+ TOTW Upgrade SBC in FIFA 23

The 80+ TOTW Upgrade SBC is a good opportunity to pack some top players

The SBC is relatively easy, requiring players to assemble an of six with all players being gold to complete the challenge. This challenge is very easy for beginners and casual players. Don’t worry about those complex chemistry requirements, you can jump on the FUT Transfer Market to find the cheapest Gold Player Card for the role and you’re good to go.

Here are the requirements to complete the 80+ Upgrade SBC in FIFA 23:

  • Player Quality: Exactly Gold
  • Rare Players: Minimum 1
  • Number of players in squad: 6

Reward: 1 x Rare Gold Player (Untradeable)

The six player cards that you need to complete the challenge are: two ST, three CAM, two CM and one CB.

Regular players can use their existing cards as bait a few times before making any upgrades they want to their roster. Players would want to hurry up as this promotion expires later tonight.

Here are the requirements to complete the 80+ TOTW Upgrade SBC in FIFA 23:

  • Minimum of 1 player with Overall Rating of 85
  • Team Rating: Minimum 83
  • Number of players in squad: 11

Reward: 1 x 80+ TOTW Player Pack (Untradeable)

This Squad Building Challenge is a little more difficult than the previous challenge, but has worthy rewards. With an approximate cost of 14-16K Coins, the 80+ TOTW upgrade gives players the chance to acquire one of the cards from previous versions of Team of the Week in FIFA 23, but it’s important to note that this card is non-tradable. Therefore, anyone looking to make a profit in the market should look elsewhere to earn coins.
