The Newcomers Challenge 3 is live in FIFA 23

With the introduction of FIFA 23’s Rulebreakers promotion, EA has released Newcomer’s Challenge 3 SBC for Ultimate Team.

It is a relatively easy challenge that gives players the chance to win a few unique cards from the Rulebreakers promotion, and considering the FUT season is young, players low on FUT Coins will probably welcome these small SBCs.

The SBC is relatively easy to complete

Like previous challenges in the series, this one has a gimmick where the game sets some positions on the field that the player cannot change. These positions are LM, CDM x 2, and RM.

As you can see from the requirements, completing the SBC isn’t too difficult since there is no rating limit. The player can freely use the cheap Bronze cards in 5 positions and at least 2 Silver cards to complete the challenge without affecting their economy.

Here are the requirements to complete the Newcomers Challenge 3 SBC in FIFA 23:

  • Number of players in squad: 7
  • Total Squad Chemistry Points required: Minimum 18
  • Silver players: Minimum 2
  • Nationalities: Maximum 4
  • Players from the same club: Maximum 4
  • Rare player cards: Minimum 1

Reward: 1 x Rare Player rated 75 OVR or higher. [Unatradeable]

With four fixed positions on the roster being French origin cards, FIFA 23 players would be wise to turn to cheap French stars from the transfer market to easily reach the relatively low chemistry requirement of 18.

For the rest of the requirements, especially if you need to buy a silver card on the market, you can look at smaller leagues around the world, such as Poland and China. The same goes for the solo rare player card that is also required to complete the challenge in FIFA 23.
