FIFA 23 has had its fair share of performance issues since its launch a few weeks ago. While the game has made leaps and bounds in terms of both graphical quality and content, not everyone in the community can enjoy the game at its best.
Memory dump issues, crashes, and other bugs report EA’s latest game’s entry has caused a lot of trouble. One of the bugs that seems to persist to this day is blurry textures and pixelation issues. This is mostly due to the game’s core graphics settings.

How to Fix the “Textures Blurry and Pixelated” Error in FIFA 23
FIFA 23 does not run optimally on many systems, even with most default settings, and often causes many issues with graphics, textures, and other game performances. Unfortunately, this error is not easily treatable. Luckily, there are some methods you can try to fix the problem.
To fix blurry and pixelated textures error in FIFA 23, you need to adjust some of the graphics settings in the game itself. Since the bug comes specifically from there, you may need to change some graphics settings for the game to run optimally on your system.

Here are the steps to follow to fix the error:
- Go to the Display settings option in the game, and change the resolution to 1920 x 1080 (16:9). Lowering your graphics to 1080p from 2K or 4K may likely help fix the blurring issue.
- Next, after setting the Display Mode option to Full Screen, you will need to lock the game’s FPS to 60. However, you can lower it from here depending on your system configuration. A lower configuration will require you to set the limit to somewhere around 30 to 45.
- You will also need to switch off Dynamic Resolution Scale. This will improve performance drastically and will most likely eliminate most of the performance issues that you may be facing in the game.
- Turning Rendering Quality to Medium is also advised, as that will boost performance drastically as well, making FIFA 23 run much smoother in lower-end systems.
If you are still facing the pixelated and blurry error after the above steps, then you will likely have to submit a ticket to EA in its “Contact Us” section under FIFA 23.
