FIFA 23: Leak Reveals Rashford is Set to Receive Beast POTM Card
It's time for September's POTM in FIFA 23
The Premier League has teamed up with FIFA developer EA Sports to create a special Player of the Month card in Ultimate Team. In August 2022, Erling Haaland received his improved POTM. Since the release of FIFA 23, the gaming community has had a blast with the new game.
There is a lot of excitement building as more and more special cards are released in FUT. A leak has revealed that the new POTM for September is Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, so there’s no doubt that many players are looking to save up coins to complete squad-building challenges.

Highly Boosted Rashford POTM Item is Coming to FIFA 23
Since FIFA 23 is in its early stages, there aren’t many cards dedicated to the gaming community. Besides the POTM cards, there are only Team of the Week and Ones to Watch cards. For this reason, many are looking for good players, especially in the Premier League, where there are many good players who fit the FIFA 23 meta.
The Marcus Rashford card was leaked by the ever-reliable FutSheriff. Sheriff took to his Twitter account to announce the leak and also shared Rashford’s card stats and ratings. Fut Sheriff has been a very reliable source, with his leaks and predictions barely missing the target. Even though the stats are predicted, the official stats of the player card won’t be too far off from the predictions if released.

As can be seen in the stats predicted by Fut Sheriff for Rashford’s POTM card, he will have some serious pace. Pace is the meta again in FIFA 23 and a player like Rashford who is already fast, will have boosted pace in his POTM card in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. This serves as a really good opportunity for players of the game to save up coins to complete Rashford’s SBC once it releases and pick up a really powerful player to use in the new game.
Rashford had a successful September despite playing just two games. He got one assist against Leicester City before making another against Arsenal. The Englishman also scored twice against the Gunners as Manchester United won 3-1. If the leak is true, Rashford will be finishing ahead of the likes of other in-form players such as Erling Haaland, Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne.
