3 new Icons in FIFA 23 have been officially released!
FIFA 23 is not far away, and we are only a couple of weeks away from its launch. The new game is carrying a lot of hype with it and fans are eager to start playing the game as soon as possible. FIFA 23 is scheduled for release on September 30, and 3 days earlier on September 27 for those people who bought the Ultimate Edition of the game, and hence have early access to it.
FIFA 23 is highly anticipated by the fans, and rightly so as well. There are a host of new features that the game is bringing with it, including several new dimensions to the game and entire restructuring of certain interfaces that have never been seen before in any of the previous FIFA editions. New Icons Muller, Xabi Alonso and Jairzinho Unveiled with Official Stats in FIFA 23!

Icon Cards are some of the rarest and best cards in the game, and are highly desired by players of the game. After all, who wouldn’t want to have a team made of the greatest players from the last 30 years or beyond?
There are now 3 new Icons who will be added to the FIFA 23 roster. These 3 Icons will join an already existing list of Icons for the new game. EA Sports has officially announced the 3 new Icons in the game to be Gerd Muller, Xabi Alonso, and Jairzinho. These are certainly top players in football history.

Gerd Muller
A truly prolific striker, Gerd Muller has earned himself an Icon status with an incredible record in front of goal. The German striker broke Bundesliga records for fun. Such records include most career goals, most hat-tricks, most golden boots, most Bundesliga goals, to name a few. As can be seen, Muller has a good rating and some pretty impressive stats as well, making him a force to be reckoned with in the game.
Xabi Alonso
No midfielder is as elegant as Xabi Alonso. The Spaniard’s incredible technique and ability to single out teammates have become his trademark. It was a sharp, pinpoint long pass from deep that sent the ball to the attacker’s plate. A talent he used on several occasions was sending the ball over the keeper’s head halfway behind his line. Alonso has been a midfield base for some of Europe’s biggest teams and lifted trophies to match it as well. This is the true hallmark of an Icon. Although Alonso’s passing stats seem to be doing him a bit of injustice, it can at least be satisfactory that he has made it to the list of Icons in FIFA 23.
Jairzinho
Brazil’s 1970 FIFA World Cup squad is widely regarded as one of the greatest international teams to ever set foot on the football field. In the tournament, Jairzinho has done what no player has ever done before or since. He scored in every match of the FIFA World Cup Final, from the group stage to the final, as Brazil won the Cup. The Hurricane, as he is known, was a goal scorer off the wing, with blistering pace and a fearsome combination of strength and dribbling skills that allows him to easily outrun defenders and score spot-on finishes that goalkeepers didn’t have a chance to save. One of Brazil’s finest players also has made it to the Icons list for the new game.
