FIFA 23: Ones to Watch Confirmed as the First Event! EA Reveals Haaland, Sterling and More!
FIFA 22 is reaching its final few weeks, and the the FUT 22 cycle will end. The launch of the Pre-Season event marks the final promo in the game. The Pre-Season promo provides rewards to players of the game which can be used in both FIFA 22, and FIFA 23 (once it releases). This serves as an incentive to the players of the game to shift from FIFA 22 to the new game as well.
With FIFA 23 releasing on September 30 (September 27 for those players of the game who have early access), there is plenty of hype for the game and all the new features that are coming with it. EA has officially announced that the first event in FIFA 23 is the ‘Ones to Watch’ promo. Have a look below to find out more details, especially who the confirmed players in the promo are.

FIFA 23 Ones to Watch: EA Reveals Haaland, Sterling and More!
It has been confirmed by EA that four Premier Players have been listed under the Ones to Watch promo. These players are Erling Haaland, Raheem Sterling, Darwin Nunez, and Richarlison. Erling Haaland was initially revealed as the first player to be named under the Ones to Watch campaign almost 2 weeks ago.
Ones to Watch (OTW) refers to special, limited edition player cards in FIFA Ultimate Team that upgrade dynamically and can increase in terms of overall ratings throughout the real-world season. In this case, the Premier League season. OTW is a promo that EA introduced first in FIFA 18, and has been accommodated in the following versions ever since. This is a very popular promo as players of the game become eager to use their favourite club’s new signing in the game.

With the number of massive signings of highly rated players this summer transfer window, this Ones to Watch promo could be the best one yet to feature in FIFA since its inception. Norway and Manchester City Number 9 Erling Haaland will probably be the player in highest demand in this OTW campaign. Haaland has hit the ground running at Man City, and became the fastest player in Premier League history to score 10 goals. This player’s card will certainly grow throughout the course of FIFA 23.
Raheem Sterling is another player who would be in high demand as his agility and pace in FIFA 23 will be haunting to opposition teams. He is starting to find his groove at Chelsea, following a slightly rocky start. Nunez hasn’t exactly made his mark yet, but we have seen what this player is capable of and is bound to shine this season. Richarlison has been impressive for Tottenham as well. Although he hasn’t played many minutes, he has still impressed in the time he has been given. Richarlison has the potential to improve his rating throughout FIFA 23, considering he’s given more playing time.
