The FIFA 23 ratings revealed the best players in the game this year. The highest rating is shared by 5 players this time, which is unusual as it has been dominated only by 2-3 players in most of the previous editions of until now. These 5 players are Mbappe, Benzema, Lewandowski, Messi, and Kevin De Bruyne.
2 PSG players, Mbappe and Messi, are featured as part of the highest rated players in the game. However, another PSG player, Sergio Ramos has been given a heavy downgrade in FIFA 23 as compared to FIFA 22, and he was not happy about it. Ramos has been given a rating of 84 OVR this year, as compared to last year’s 88 OVR.

Ramos was part of an official interview, that his club Paris Saint Germain later posted on their main YouTube channel. The video involved around PSG players reacting to their new FIFA 23 ratings. When it came to Ramos’ turn to react to his rating, he wasn’t happy. Ramos implied his card should have a little higher rating, and that he was dissatisfied with the new card.
The man who was conducting the interview told Ramos that the person who gave him his FIFA 23 rating was actually in the same room as them, following Sergio Ramos’ dissatisfied reaction. Ramos jokingly replied to this by saying, “Really? I’ll kill him!” Of course, Ramos didn’t mean this, but his anger and upset with his rating can still be felt in the tone of his voice. However, Ramos’ new rating seems to be justified because he was barely present for PSG last season and his declining performances since he left Real Madrid.
