The release of FIFA 23 is highly anticipated by fans. With the new game scheduled to release on September 30, fans there is plenty of hype among the players of the game regarding its release. There are plenty of new features which have been introduced, along with changes to the interfaces of some game modes in FIFA 23 as well.

One such feature in FIFA 23 is the Co-Op feature in FUT. FUT Co-Op is a feature originally added in FIFA 21 that lets you team up with a friend online in Division Rivals against other solos or duos, in Squad Battles against the AI, or kick back in FUT Friendlies House Rules and Public Co-Op against other players. In order to play FIFA FUT 23 Co-Op, your friend needs to be on your friend list, and you need to send him an invitation through the EA Social Widget. The FIFA 23 EA Social widget allows players to search, add, and send or receive invites across platforms. Out of you and your friend, one of you will be the captain.

This means that whoever the captain is, that person will have control over which of the squads will be used for the match. After the match, both you and your friend will receive rewards. Even if the game mode supports cross-play, Co-Op is excluded. You and your friend will have to play online on the same console (for example, you cannot be on a PS4, and he/she is on a PS5).

Playing online cooperatively with friends is only possible in Squad Battles, Division Rivals, and FUT Friendlies. You cannot play FUT CO-Op on FUT Champions or FUT Draft. The following Co-OP friendly modes are available offline in FIFA 23:

  • King of the hill
  • Max Chemistry
  • Headers & Volleys
  • Survival
  • Long Range
  • No Rules
  • Co-op Public Matchmaking

The final promo is out in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, the Pre-Season promo. This event marks the final stage of the FUT 22 cycle, following the wrapping up of FUTTIES as well. This event mainly aims to shift players of the game onto FIFA 23 once it releases, by providing incentives in the form of various rewards which are transferable to the new game from FIFA 22, subject to completion of various SBCs and objectives.
