Epic Games is trying to make Fortnite’s Fortnitemares the biggest in-game event of the year, and this time around, they are going all out. With the release of Fortnitemares 2022, several new quests have been added to the game, completing which will grant rewards. With the release of several in-game articles and even player skins that can be accumulated by completing the quests, Fortnite is trying to make it game as interactive and fun for its players as possible.

Fortnitemares 2022 has two new quests released on Monday, and one of them requires the players to use the Pumpkin Launcher. Fortnite has already added the Curdle Scream Leader and now will also add the Inkquisitor, who is a popular antagonistic NPC boss within the game. This is to enable the players to complete the quest of destroying something with the Pumpkin Launcher, and defeating the Inkquisitor gives the players one.

In a recent post on Twitter, Fortnite tweeted about this new NPC being dropped on 1st November. Although the location for this character is yet to be confirmed, fans will not take too much time after the character is dropped. Since the Inkquisitor makes his return, it is highly likely that Fortnite might also end up bringing a few of the other popular NPCs depending on the initial reaction.

The Grim Gables is a popular haunt of the Inkquisitor, however, the developers might choose to make this a much more difficult character to find by making him rotate the island like the Curdle Scream Leader. Given the popularity of the character and the fans’ initial reaction, this will turn out to be one of the popular moves within the game.

Pumpkin Launcher: How to get it

If getting the Pumpkin Launcher is an immediate requirement, then it can be purchased from the Curdle Scream Leader for 600 gold. Along with it, landing on the Grim Gables to fight the Inkquisitor appears yet another viable option, which will not only give the Pumpkin Launcher but also a number of in game items along with it.

If you are in the quest for the Chrome Punk skin, defeating the Inkquisitor and getting this launcher appears to be the quickest free route to the quest. Fortnitemares will last till 1st November questors will have enough time to hunt down this Curdle Scream Leader and get those quests and purchases out of the way to finally claim the free player skin.
