Fortnite Ex-Caliber Weapon: The new weapon in Fortnite is a new addition that came along with the brand-new chapter and season in the game. These are important keys to the game as well as coming to work in several challenges the players need to complete for gaining XP and other rewards.

Fortnite challenges are launched in the game on a weekly basis for players to earn more amount of XP.  Players will need to find Ex-Caliber Weapon in order to complete one of these tasks which are mainly concerned with the recent event of the challenges this week in the game.

Fortnite’s quests are always pretty exciting and Epic Games have been bringing up a lot of new stuff for its Battle Royale enthusiasts. Challenges are always a good addition to the game for more bonus XP. These Challenges are proving to be a bit difficult for some players. Players only need to visit locations to gain the XP and move on to the next challenge.

Every week will introduce more challenges to Fortnite, and players can complete them in any order they like. One of them is finding this Ex-Caliber Weapon in the game for players. The Ex-Caliber Rifle is a Marksman Rifle in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 4: Season 1. Its Mythic version is The Ageless Champion’s Ex-Caliber Rifle.

Locations

Players can also find it inside the chests and supply drops. Apart from this, players can obtain its rarest variant by defeating the Ageless Champion boss at the citadel.

  • It is known as a ‘fire and forget’ weapon, as shooting it at an enemy allows the player to shift their attention to something else, as they are certain it will later deal significant damage.
  • This weapon is also extremely good at countering vehicles since every sword attached to one will deal direct damage to the crew, no matter which point of the vehicle was hit.

The Ex-Caliber Rifle is an unscoped Marksman Rifle that shoots blades that explode after a short time. This sword deals contact damage to players and then explodes after a short time.

The contact damage is affected by headshots, whereas the explosion is not. It deals its damage on impact, and then the same a few seconds later, effectively doubling its damage output. 

Challenges are always a good addition to the game for more XP. Although these aren’t necessary to be completed, players can get free XP and hence other rewards. Players only have a week to complete every weekly challenge and tomorrow they will be handed a whole new version of the quests. These challenges offer high amounts of XP when completed. Each week there are 7 Epic Quests worth 24,000 XP and one Legendary Quest worth 133,000 XP.
