Fortnite Goofy Gravestone: What is it and Where to Find it

Fortnite Goofy Gravestone: What is it and Where to Find it

Goofy Gravestone

It wouldn’t be Fortnitemares without proper decorations and jump scares on the map. This year, Epic Games went one step further, adding Zombie Chicken, two new NPC bosses, and the Goofy Gravestones.

Zombie Chicken and the NPC bosses are self-explanatory, but Goofy Gravestones need a little explanation. The island has had gravestones for years, but not like this. Instead of mentioning who or what is buried on the spot, they hand out some hilarious one-liners.

Goofy Gravestones has become a huge hit among the community, and Fortnite fans seem to love this addition so far.

What Exactly are Goofy Gravestones in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4?

Added after the Fortnite update v22.20, Goofy Gravestones were an immediate hit with the community. The exact location is yet to be specified, but the lines the Goofy Gravestone gives out have been revealed. While normal gravestones include a person’s date of birth and “expiration date”, Goofy Gravestones give out funny single sentences.

This is not surprising given that Epic Games is known for its use of humor in its games. Some of them are meaningful to all readers, but certain one-liners are particularly relevant to the lore, plot characters, and events that occurred on the island.

Here are the various lines the Goofy Gravestones give out:

  • Available for Sublet – contact Grisabelle
  • In case of zombie outbreak, this grave will be unoccupied
  • Willow’s Axe Cache – Don’t Touch!
  • Didn’t thank the Bus Driver
  • Meowscles (Life 3 of 9)
  • It’s just teeth in here!
  • Cuddle Team Founder
  • This is NOT a secret apocalypse bunker
  • This plot is sponsored by No Sweat Insurance
  • Take a Femur, Leave a Femur

Many changes have been introduced under the v22.20 update in the game

For example, the Goofy Gravestone line “Available for Sublet – contact Grisabelle”  is a reference to the character Grisabelle. She was added to the game in Chapter 2 Season 8 and is now an in-game enemy AI. Another Fortnite-specific clue is “Didn’t thank the Bus Driver.”

To interact with a Goofy Gravestone, simply walk over to it and press the interact button when prompted. There is no limit to the number of times you can interact with it during the game.
