Fortnite Announces a 40 Vs 40 No build Limited Time Game Mode

Fortnite has recently teased the 40 v 40 LMT in a Tweet that says “Get ready to battle with 39 of your closest friends”. The most favorite 50v50 Game mode is coming back to the game with a little change. This time it will be 40 instead of 50 and in a No-build mode.

In this limited-time game mode, the storm will already be present in the first zone and players will find uncommon-rarity items in their load-outs. This will be a fast-paced game mode and the damage from the storm will be lethal.

Players will spawn with fixed loadouts and will have skill-based matchmaking. the pre-fixed loadout will include OG Tac Shotgun + Burst AR + 4 Minis and 10 Bandages. This mode was leaked in October and is now finally making it to the game. This new mode will be live from 10 AM ET on 15 November 2022. This mode will be a lot similar to the 50v50 LMT. There is no news as to how long the game mode will last but it is safe to assume that it will go on till the release of Chapter 4.

The second last update of chapter 3 v22.40 is finally here and brought exciting new features to the game. Starting off with the new Fortnite x Rocket League collab which has brought the Octane car to the game along with 12 new challenges and four exciting rewards.

A new item called the Grapple Glider is also coming to the game. This is an epic item and can be used only 10 times. This item will lift the players off the ground and open the glider in mid-air. This is perfect for emergencies and getting to safety. The 50v50 Game mode is coming back with improvements as the no-build 40v40 LMT. There are also some minor POI changes in the game like Tilted Tower’s name changing to Tainted Tower. The Bushranger is also coming back to the game as an NPC.

This update has also fixed many bugs and improved competitive matchmaking. There is a new lobby for the upcoming live event which will happen in Chapter 4. Fortnite Chapter 4 will commence on 3rd December 2022.
