The Metallica Masters of Puppets emote was recently added in Fortnite and it features a portion of Metallica’s song Master Of Puppets from 1986. This crossover was not at all anticipated and came as a surprise for all the players. This collab currently features only one item which is the emote.

The player who does the emote will be playing the guitar or the drum while doing the Hetfield impression in the middle. The only way to get the Masters of Puppets emote is through the item shop. Players can buy the emote for 500V-Bucks.

What makes this emote special is that it is a synced emote and three friends can join in the emote even if they haven’t purchased the emote from the shop. Along with this Fortnite has also added a Metallica-exclusive radio which the players can switch to when inside a vehicle. This emote comes under the Icon series. Master of Puppets is the fourth Icon Series Emote in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

The Song Master Of Puppets is 36 years old and is still being used in TV series like Stranger Things. The song got revived after it was played during a scene in Stranger Things. This crossover sparks the start of the Fortnite x Metallica collaboration and now all the players are expecting the band members to come as playable characters.

If the 500 V-Bucks are a problem for the players then there is a way by which players can get the emote for free. This is, however, applied to a few players, as Fortnite is giving free 500 V-Bucks to players who purchased the Wolverine emote and the ones who unlocked it through the Marvel Zero War comic codes.
