Fortnite Chapter 3 introduced the zero build mode for the first time with a new map featuring the reality Tree. Chapter 3 also has an impressive storyline after the Foundation rescued Jones from Dr. Slone, and saved this island from the Cube Queen’s wrath. This time around, a new map concept has been revealed for Chapter 4, Episode 1, and fans are running wild with theories about it.
The Creative mode in Fortnite is supposedly giving the vibes of Upside Down in the show, with a large house ahead of the players, appearing similar to the Creel House. Grandfather clocks make a return this season, and one is present in front of the Fortnite Creative Hub as well. Christmas Lights are already a Joyce Butler reference, with the house having the same patterns.

This means that after the Stranger Things collaborations later this year, there is a high chance of the storyline following a pattern where the clash between Geno and the Seven would leave the current map Astimis severely destroyed, compelling the players to shift to the new map. This would make the gameplay more inclusive, adding the factor that the concept of this new map has already been leaked on Twitter.
As always, this new map is set to feature four distinct regions with different weather patterns that are going to make the game more dependent on the character skins you use within the game. Added to it is the fact that new quests with area-specific functionalities will be added, making the players more around different locations to secure their Xps by completing these quests.

Epic Games is known for their collaborations with larger-than-life organizations, and this time around, the second Season was the host to a series of collaborations with Marvel, introducing some of the fan-favorite skins and quest packs. At the onset, developers have teased a third collaboration with Stranger Things and an exclusive Pokemon Collaboration that has gotten fans excited about the new season soon to be out.
Along with certain collaborations, this game will continue to be hosted on Unreal Engine 5. In terms of the storyline, Fortnite is going with the clash between Geno and the Seven, where the current map Astimis would face severe destruction, compelling the players to migrate to a newer map. As is expected from Fortnite, this time once again there will be obvious changes to the map, along with new player skins and anti-heroes on the island. It will be interesting to find out how the players adapt to the new island in the upcoming new Fortnite season.
