Epic Games is trying to make Fortnite’s Fortnitemares the biggest in-game event of the year, and this time around, they are going all out. With the release of  Fortnitemares 2022, several new quests have been added to the game, completing which will grant rewards. With the release of several in-game articles and even player skins that can be accumulated by completing the quests, Fortnite is trying to make their game as interactive and fun for its players as possible.

Fortnitemares 2022 has two new quests released on Monday, and one of them requires the players to use the Pumpkin Launcher. Curdle Scream Leader is the only one where this item can be found, so locating him on the map in order to get the pumpkin launcher is a crucial part in the quest. However, even locating this NPC is an ordeal since he keeps rotating and changing his location time to time, even before the players have jumped out of the Battle Bus.

How to use Pumpkin Launcher

Firstly, the Pumpkin Launcher comes in four different form of rarities, and can end up dealing a maximum damage of 130. Also, this works equally in both the Zero-Build mode as well as the classic mode, making this weapon a fan favorite. Fortnitemares 2022 finds the return of this weapon after it was vaulted for over a year in 2021, replacing the normal rocket launcher in the game. The quest demands that something must be destroyed by the Pumpkin Launcher in game.

However, the most difficult step is to find out the location of the launcher in game. If getting it is an immediate requirement, then it can be purchased from the Curdle Scream Leader for 600 gold. Along with it, landing on the Grim Gables to fight the Inkquisitor appears yet another viable option, which will not only give the pumpkin launcher but also a number of in game items along with it.

Destroying something with the launcher is the easier part, simply aim and shoot with it to deal damage. The uncommon variant will deal 80 damage while the legendary variant will deal a damage of 130 to players and greater damage when it comes to destroying structures.

If you are in the quest for the Chrome Punk skin, defeating the Inkquisitor and getting this launcher appears to be the quickest free route to the quest. Fortnitemares will last till 1st November questors will have enough time to hunt down this Curdle Scream Leader and get those quests and purchases out of the way.
