Fortnite‘s new update 22.20 has rolled out, and this time there have been multiple map changes along with locational differences within the game. Fortnitemares 2022 is out, so it was only natural to shuffle up the locations to make it a bit more challenging for the players. The developers have also decided to bring back the planes. However, it is still unclear whether this feature has returned as part of missions or a newer permanent inclusion in the game.

If you enjoy flying planes within the game, this update might bring in some good news. However, the only issue is that the location of these ramps keeps shifting. So where exactly are the ramps and launchpads for playing these planes?

  • Shell of High Water, Southwest of Shiny Sound

This location is present in between the Chromejam Junction and the Shiny Sound and is placed between the rocks so you’ll have to do a fair bit of climbing. Rotating on foot appears to be one of the fastest ways to get to that location, although you can also use tamed animals as an alternative to finding these areas. Finally, however, a direct landing on the launchpad from the Battle Bus is the only guaranteed way of securing a plane for yourself.

  • East of Beach Bash, Southwest of Reality Tree

Well, there are three different locations to find the planes, so there is actually no need to hurry. Players can easily reach the Reality Tree and then move southwest to get to the runway platform. However, since this location is easier to find, the plane might already be gone unless you are the first to reach that spot.

  • Launchpad, East of Herald Sanctum

The name itself is self-explanatory, and this is the easiest of all locations to find. That is specifically because players can use several Outposts to launch themselves toward the Launchpad island, with a runway waiting for them.

When will X-4 Stormwings and Biplanes be added in-game

Biplanes might be returning as part of a quest, so players will have to stay vigilant about it. One of the quests might be “Take a Biplane through a rift“, Fortnite leaker Wenso confirmed.

With the addition of these runways, players will have greater real-life interactions within the game. Overall, it has been speculated that before the end of this season, two more of these runways might be added, taking the total number to five. But whatever the case is, fans are excited about this returning feature within the game.
