Resident Evil is back in Fortnite. Recent leaks suggested a crossover between Fortnite and Resident Evil 4 Remake. This time, the crossover will include Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. These new skins will join the previously introduced Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine skins.
Unlike the Attack on Titan skins arriving on launch day, it appears that fans of Resident Evil will have to wait a little longer. Although it is not yet official, rumors suggest that the Resident Evil skins will be released in the first few weeks of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, which may be around the release date of Resident Evil 4 Remake, which is set for March 24. Chapter 4 Season 2 is a new cyberpunk-themed season of Fortnite, being titled “Mega”.

Everything we know about Fortnite x Resident Evil skins
The new Resident Evil skins are expected to arrive soon, likely around the same time as the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake. However, the exact date of release and the unlocking process for these skins have yet to be announced.
In terms of the skins themselves, early previews suggest that they will resemble the characters’ appearances in Resident Evil 2. This is due to Leon sporting his signature blue henley instead of his iconic brown overcoat. Some fans speculate that these skins may have different variations of skins. These variations may allow players to choose which era of Resident Evil they prefer.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Resident Evil skins in Fortnite. However, only two characters have been confirmed for the crossover so far. These characters are Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. As such, it remains to be seen if other characters from the franchise will make an appearance in the game.
Recently the Resident Evil franchise has skyrocketed in popularity. It’s no surprise that Fortnite has chosen to include it in its lineup of crossovers. Resident Evil has a large and dedicated fanbase. The addition of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield skins in Fortnite is sure to please many fans.
It will be interesting to see how the Resident Evil skins are received by the Fortnite community once they are released. Fans of both franchises will undoubtedly be excited to play their favorite characters in the game. Until then, fans can only wait and speculate about what the future holds for this exciting crossover.
