Fortnite x Rocket League Collab Will Introduce The Octane Car Along With New Challenges

The Fortnite x Rocket League collab is happening once again and has been released with the update v22.40. The final update for Chapter 3 is here and it is going all out with amazing additions to the game including a new LMT.

The Fortnite x Rocket League Collaboration is bringing Octane straight from the champion fields to the islands of the Fortnite world. The collab will also feature exciting new challenges with good rewards. The Octane is the most popular car in Rocket League and is now coming to Fortnite, earlier it was only restricted to the Creative mode but not any more players can now find it in creative and zero build mode.

The vehicle is already added and ready for the players to drive across the maps. Octane car is rifted from the rocket league world which means it will carry over all its abilities which include boost and wall-climbing features. This car will also be able to jump mid-air and flip in any direction. Octane can do a double jump and also dodge mid-air while doing acrobatics.

The Fortnite x Rocket League Collab has brought 12 new challenges and players will have to do only eight to get all the free rewards. Each challenge rewards 20000 XP upon completion. Here are the four rewards that the players can get by completing the Octane Challenges:

  • Aerial Assist Style Back Board back bling + Shot in Flight emoticon – Complete 2 Octane quests
  • Brella Beach Style of the Back Board Back Bling + Octane Smash spray – Complete 4 Octane quests

  • Brella Beach Style of the Back Board Back Bling – Complete 6 Octane quests.
  • Clutch Victory pickaxe + Fifty-Fifty Style of the Back Board Back Bling – Complete 8 Octane quests.

All the Octane quests are relatively simple and will require only an hour to be completed. Fortnite’s Whiplash Car has also made its way to the Rocket League Champion Fileds. Collaborations like this that affect the gameplay are always loved by the players. Players can play octane till the last update of chapter 3 season 4 which will happen on 3rd December 2022.
