French President Macron talked about esports importance

In an interview with TheBigWhale, French President Emmanuel Macron talked about how esports and gaming are important components of “French soft culture power”. He also stated about two big esports organizations French Karmine Corp and Team Vitality are two pillars of “French excellency” in eSports.

France’s presidential election is coming near and takes place on April 24, there are only two main candidates for the presidential seat Emmanuel Macron and National Rally candidate Marine Le Pen. As we are seeing the esports industry growing faster than any other field of industry many collaborations with entertainment sectors, sports, and politics. Not only western countries in Asia are also in esports growing faster recently in Asian Games for the first time we going to witness an esports tournament of multiple games like PUBG, DOTA 2, and League of Legends.

In an interview with the Web3 newsletter, TheBigWhale Macron talked about the esports importance in the country and technology as a culture in France. He said video games are important for “French soft culture power”.

Macron also praised game developing companies in France Quantic Dream and Ubisoft and said these companies show the presence of France in the gaming industry after he promotes France as “The country for video games”.

Emmanuel Macron also put lights on to make the country an esports hub, he cited that along with the 2024 Olympic Games he wants “to establish a link between the two worlds” and host major big tournaments in Europe.

Then Macron mentioned some major titles in esports industries CSGO, Dota 2, and League of Legends, and wants to host the international plan tournaments in the country if he is re-elected in the upcoming election. “if the French trust me, we will work on it as soon as I am elected. This is what France’s influence is all about.” he said.

In the last, he talked about two big e-sports organizations Karmine Corp and Team Vitality and cited that this organization represents “French excellence” in games like CSGO and Leagues of Legends.
