The first match on Ascend began with style with FS Esports taking the pistol round as well as the second round. It was stated by the commentators that if FS were able to take more than 5 rounds of attack, they would win the map. Due to Team Valor being well known for their aggressive and calculated attack. On this map, both the team coms consisted of Sage, Killjoy, Kay/o and Astra. The only difference is the choice of Duelist with FS going for Raze and Valor going for Jett.
