Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks: Yae Miko's idle animation changed in-game
The devs are continually modifying Yae Miko’s kit in the Genshin Impact 2.5 beta. Every component of the next five-star persona is being tweaked to meet audience expectations, from Elemental powers to animations. It’s no surprise that Yae Miko will be accompanied by a new five-star weapon known as Kagura’s Verity. MiHoYo plans to add ascension effects to the weapon, which is custom-made for the Electro character.
Idle animations are a small but important part of every Genshin Impact character. When the character does not move over an extended period of time, they are automatically triggered.

In Genshin Impact, Yae Miko’s idle animations were altered
Yae Miko’s idle animation was altered significantly, and beta testers noticed it right away. When Yae Miko is standing still, a bird approaches her. The bird is subsequently chased by a little Electro fox. The character simply observes the incident before laughing. In the initial idle animation, Yae Miko didn’t seem astonished at all. According to the beta testers, she is now surprised and then laughs.
You can watch the animation change below:
As is customary, fans are split on the idle animation change. Some argue that emotion like a surprise is inappropriate for Yae Miko, while others argue that the animation has improved.
In the Epitome Invocation banner, Yae Miko’s flag will be joined by Kagura’s Verity. The five-star catalyst not only complements the character’s playstyle, but it also looks good in Genshin Impact.
Kagura’s Verity shines and looks significantly better than its Lv. 1 form at maximum ascension. This is a minor yet significant incentive for players to progress with this weapon.
Kagura’s Verity has a Crit Damage sub-stat that offers 66.2 Crit DMG at Lv. 90. Elemental Damage and Elemental Skill Damage are both increased by the passive ability.
