MiHoYo just wrapped up their webcast for Genshin Impact version 2.5, which includes a slew of new details. With the current Lantern Rite event in full swing, the countless leaks and rumours circulating on the internet have only added to the players’ excitement. However, in a recent Livestream, miHoYo made them official, allowing players to see a lot of interesting content.

Yae Miko will be a new 5-star in the 2.5 updates, as well as two relays, new Story Quests, and new foes. The Livestream, as well as all planned features, will be broken down in the following article, which will be released on February 16, 2022.

Enkanomiya hosts a difficult exploration event. Adventurers in Enkanomiya will be challenged by the “Three Realms Gateway Offering” event at Genshin Impact 2.5. An unseen entity will haunt each location. While stepping foot within this location, characters in a group will continuously amass corrosive darkness, resulting in damage.

The characters will be helped even further in their fight against corruption by a device known as the Bokuso Box. Additionally, it will provide everyone with new powers. Players can earn Primogems and a 4-star Catalyst weapon called Oathsworn Eye during the event, which will last for the duration of the 2.5 release.

Yae Miko, a long-awaited electro user, will make her debut in the next update. Her talents and bursts, in addition to being Catalyst users, can deal both on- and off-field damage. Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi will appear in the second part of the update, but her event desire will be available in the first half.

Two new enemy types will be added to the game in Update 2.5, both of which appear to be based in Inazuma. Inside Enkanomiya, players will face new foes such as Standard Bearers, Line Breakers, and Defenders of the Shadowy Husk family.
