Genshin Impact 2.5: Next 4-stars  weapons banner release date revealed

With Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi set to return in the next Genshin Impact character banner, the weapons banner is sure to change to match the characters. HoYoverse announced the new weapons banner again for the second stage of Genshin Impact edition 2.5 a few hours ago.

After Yae Miko finally became playable in the current update, players have set their eyes upon the upcoming Genshin Impact 2.5 banner which will mark the return of two characters that is Raiden Shogun and Kokomi.

The game continues to offer 5-star weapons that are best suited for the 5-star character in the festival banner, following the tradition. Engulfing Lightning & Everlasting Moonglow are two of the stated weapons, and they are the best-in-class for Raiden Shogun & Kokomi.

Top 5 best 4-star weapons in Genshin Impact

On March 8 at 18:00 (UTC+8), the new Genshin Impact weapon banner would be issued alongside the following character banners. Engulfing Lightning (Polearm) & Everlasting Moonglow are two 5-star weapons that will see a significant increase in drop rate (Catalyst).

Meanwhile, the 4-star weapons listed below receive a massive drop rate increase inside the new weapon banner:

  1. Akuoumaru (Claymore)
  2. Mouun’s Moon (Bow)
  3. Lion’s Roar (Sword)
  4. Favonius Lance (Polearm)
  5. Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst

Players can use the Epitomized Path to map a path to one of the promo weapons, whether Engulfing Lightning or Everlasting Moonglow, during this campaign. They can grab the weapons with a total of 240 pulls using this function.

It’s also worth noting that neither 5-star weaponry nor the regular banner ‘Wanderlust Invocation’ will be available. As a result, drawing in the next weapons banner is the only method to get these weapons.

Before deciding on a new banner, players should consider their options. Kamisato Ayato, a Water user, could be the next hero to appear in a future version of Genshin Impact.

Most viable weapons in the next weapon banners:

  • Engulfing Lightning

Because of its Power Recharge secondary stats and Strike bonus, this 5-star polearm is Raiden Shogun’s hallmark weapon and is particularly valuable for other support characters.

  • Everlasting Moonglow

Sangonomiya Kokomi’s signature weapon is Genshin Impact’s Everlasting Moonglow. The catalyst’s secondary stat is HP, and its passive talents include a healing bonus. Barbara is the only one who can use this weapon other than Kokomi.

  • Akuoumaru (Claymore)

This four-star claymore isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s also not the worst. It is suitable for DPS and supporting characters who specialise in their Elemental Bursts, such as Chongyun, Beidou, Diluc, and Eula because it has decent Attack secondary stats and improved Elemental Burst damage.
